Fishing Lake Bible Camp was started in 1944 when the pastors of a couple of churches were inspired to start a Bible camp. They bought an 11-½ acre parcel of land on the north shore of Little Fishing Lake. Within two months, from rustic slabs, a work crew had constructed a tabernacle/dining hall, a kitchen, two sleeping cabins, and a cellar and dug an 18-foot well.
Fishing Lake Bible Camp opened on July 15th, 1945 and has been making an impact on lives every summer since. While the camp no longer has sawdust floors or a milk cow on-site, we have a well-maintained modern facility sufficient to our needs with beautiful views. Many things have changed over the years, but our vision has stayed the same. To provide kids with a fun and safe place where they can have an adventure at camp each summer!
We are located on the north shore of Fishing Lake in east-central Saskatchewan, surrounded by the beautiful parkland.
The camp is east of Wadena (between Kylemore & Kuroki) on Highway #5.
